Your Green Homestead website was officially launched in January 2019. Shortly after the launch, a call for contest entries for 2019 was issued on January 29, 2019. Out of the total nine submitted contest entries listed below, an essay “Why is Permaculture a game changer for both urban and rural communities?” by Charles White and Ginger-Rose Krueck received all perfect 5-star ratings in four categories and the highest number of votes. This contest entry was officially announced to be a Winner of Your Green Homestead Highest Rated Entry Award for 2019 on February 9, 2020 when YGH issued a Press Release about this.
