If we’re going to stop fracking and pipelines, we need future-thinking energy policy.
Tom Gilbert of ReThink Energy NJ joins us to discuss how his organization informs and empowers citizens and decision-makers to support sensible policies to bring about a swift transition to clean, efficient, renewable energy. They advocate reducing the use of dirty fossil fuels and stopping unnecessary pipelines that threaten our land, air, water, health, and safety.
In the meantime… PLEASE TAKE A MINUTE TO SIGN OUR PETITION
Scott and I have been busy working behind the scenes with a group of hemp industry leaders and farmers to get Farm Aid to make industrial hemp the focus of this year’s event.
Please sign on to our Change.org petition at https://www.change.org/p/farm-aid-focus-on-industrial-hemp-to-save-family-farms and share it widely. If we each share with our contacts and ask that they do the same, we can make this thing go viral. Together, we can make this vision a reality, for our farmers and for our future!
Thank you for all you do to shape a world that works!
Looking forward to seeing you Thursday!

With a long and distinguished career in microbiology, Mike Cox is the Founder and CEO of Anaerobe Systems, a microbiology manufacturing and research company. Mike is an inventor with a patented technology that converts biomass into hydrogen and organic fertilizers. A happy “accident,” he discovered his miracle “plant food” and fertilizer as a by-product while developing a process to produce hydrogen.
Join us to for a brilliantly creative solution to food waste that promises to turn the fossil fuel-based fertilizer industry on its head.
